Staff were very helpful, the hotel was clean and they had attention to little details in the room (safe, amenities, complimentary fresh fruit, comfortable bedding) The hotel looks great, it is a renewed historical building from the era of king Farouk of Egypt, they kept all the old characteristics of the building, it is in a quiet area and perfect for walking around. Great breakfast. Excellent value for money Highly recommended especially in winter.

The historic location near Montazah Palace, an oasis away from hustle and bustle from the rest of the city. The air is fresh and there is no pollution. The park is so beautifully maintained and it feels like Disneyland but with a lot more history. I think the Montazah area is a must visit spot when in Alexandria because it is different from the rest of the city. And the sea breeze can be felt more than in other places.

I liked the hotel overall, however two main points that forced me to leave and didn't extend my stay, the bed is very small in size and the mattress is extremely tough. Other than this the hotel is perfect for quiet stay. The breakfast is a bit expensive compared to outside tier one restaurants available outside the hotel and offer a high-quality food and a fantastic view.

The hotel is very cozy and peaceful, located in the heart of Al Montaza Gardens. The staff were outstanding—from the receptionist to every team member, everyone welcomed us with warmth and kindness. For our anniversary, they surprised us with a lovely cake, and every staff member congratulated us and wished us well. Another highlight is the pool, which is open 24/7—we even enjoyed a late-night swim under the beautiful weather. The thoughtful gestures and genuine hospitality made our stay truly unforgettable.

The place, rooms, and location are just fantastic and stunning, although it's not a beach front yet so cosy and lovely The rooms are small but you will never feel it as the ceiling is too high and the old windows overlook the garden with plenty of lights inside, the hotel is fully renovated and spotless clean with a great smell

I liked the concept of an adults-only hotel, especially since it is historic and located close to Montazah Palace. The staff is young, smiling, charming, and very polite. They upgraded our room because it was our 33rd anniversary and also offered us a complimentary tart. The suite was really wonderful, making our stay even more special.

The buildings and their historical relevance are quite well preserved. Some small details like furniture positioning etc need some attention to improve the experience. Outside the hotel, we were surprised to find that the Montazah Gardens and palaces are very well maintained architecturally and from the facility management perspective, which is a challenge in our country. So, well done.

Excellent quiet location inside Montaza Gardens.Historic building ( Haramlek palace) turned into a small clean well run hotel (adults only)with very friendly staff. Hotel offers shuttle bus to nearby Palastine Helnan Royal hotel ( beach access, restaurants, …..). The shuttle can also take you to the Montaza gate where you can take bus or Uber or taxi to many beautiful locations in Alexandria. We originally planned to stay for two days but ended up staying more than three weeks.
